    Our Story

My husband, Zach McCann, and I went through cancer invading our personal lives for over three and a half years after his initial diagnosis on April 12, 2022. This doesn't include the prior eight months of being misdiagnosed with colitis.

After the initial shock, Zach dove into supporting other cancer patients and educating them with the things we learned along the way. With his encouragement, I joined a group for stage 4 caregivers. We became vocal about our story. We shared everything we learned about cancer, treatments, doctors, navigating health and life insurance, and the emotional challenges we faced during all the highs and lows.

Due to us being so open about our story, three people in our lives caught three different cancers in early stages and all are cancer free to this day. All three are under the age of 35.

I lost Zach on August 8, 2025. However, our story isn't over.

I didn't know what to do professionally, personally, or financially after Zach passed. I knew something had to change. I had his life insurance and an impulse to act. People are suffering from cancer and debilitating diseases. The system is currently not set up to help young adults dealing with medical crises.

After repetitively asking myself, "What can I do to help?" I found that it was the same question I had been asked almost daily for the last 4 years. I focused my mindset from wanting to make a difference within the healthcare system to changing the way communities care.

My company's goal is to Nurture Against Major Events, Illnesses, and Treatments, or to allow patients and caregivers to - NAME IT - on a registry.
